History of the Original Government Surveys and Retracements, 1815-1883: A Lively Heritage

PDHs: This course will provide 2 professional development hours. ASPS will keep a record of your PDH credit within your profile on our site. This will allow for hassle-free reporting when it's time to renew your licensure.

The intricate and interesting history of the 19th century government surveys of the public domain in Arkansas. A history that underlies and guides our work today: shortcomings in the original GLO work, political influences on the surveys, land speculators and fraud, legal issues and Standards of Practice, government resurveys and private retracements, and the importance of county surveyor records.

Presenter:  Tom Webb, PS

More opportunities for PDHs via webinars are being planned for this month. They will be posted to our site soon.

Can I still get PDH credit if I don't enable the video in the webinar or I use the phone tie-in?
YES. Video screens showing the presenters and host are the only ones that will be visible. Audio-only viewing will be accepted for PDH credit.

CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds. If you cannot attend the live recording and have already paid, the recording will be sent to you for viewing at your convenience.
