I'm with Sequence, a premier executive search firm noted for successfully recruiting and placing top-notch land surveyors with leading civil engineering and land surveying firms throughout the western United States. We've recently been retained to find an exceptional individual interested in an outstanding career opportunity to join a very stable, well established, highly recognized and respected firm spanning the globe and known for providing over 50 years of innovative Geomatics technology. We are seeking a land surveyor; someone with a unique skill set experienced to oversee and run transmission and pipeline surveying projects throughout the Western United States. Specifically, we're looking for a Land Surveyor with at least four years of experience and a proven track record leading survey projects and overseeing field and office task operations related to transmission and pipeline projects. Experience with ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys; appraisal and right-of-way mapping; performing assorted calculations and producing legal descriptions, plus plats and horizontal/vertical controls; and performing both field and office survey work are required attributes to possess. While this position requires extensive travel throughout the west, more importantly, it affords the right person the chance to take the next step forward in their career and be aptly rewarded financially for their expertise and talent in this specialized area. Just as important, the position can be home-based anywhere in the united states, or the surveyor can operate out of any of the eight corporate offices throughout the west. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Geomatics or another related discipline, and be a registered PLS. Furthermore, proficiency with AutoCAD and LDD is required. For someone who loves to travel, this is a great opportunity to work all over the western united states, see the many diverse landscapes while applying their acquired surveying talents for one of the finest mapping and surveying firms in the western U.S. This is the career chance of a lifetime to join a growing, dynamic organization and find a long-term position with a reputable, financially sound company. What's more, our client is dedicated to providing a work environment where employees are challenged and are rewarded for their dedicated service. Their team of experienced professional and administrative staff enjoys an exceptionally strong, generous and comprehensive benefits package plus a very competitive salary, and the opportunity to excel in a stimulating environment. Also, they offer opportunities for professional development and growth through job assignment, and encourage continued education through their tuition assistance program and on-the-job training.
